Current Stove

This is my current stove...OUCH! But within a few days it will be replaced by something that will give me a lot more options and not have to worry about the gas flame fluctuating. I think I will buy a two burner electric stove and also an electric oven so I can bake bread!

I like the electric oven, I do no like electric stoves. To stir fry and grill nothing beats the gas flame.

@hereandthere You cannot control the temperature as quickly as you do with a gas flame. I have a friend who love grilled meat and he is very unhappy since he switched to an electric stove.

I am scared of such gas stoves after news of a few of them exploding in my homeland.

Actually many people who cook use butane tanks like that one. I imagine it can happen but so far so good!

That is nice one as in India many people especially who are move are using this type of stoves and the Government supplies the Gas in 5.5 liter cylinders! Thanks dear friend @Paradon!

I think I have a mini one - it's used for camping! This must be quite sizeable as you can hold a wok there!

Here too this is available.But somehow most of us think it is unsafe.Good to know you are going to buy electric stove and oven.
