Gambling is illegal in Thailand with the exception of a few Fighting Cock places and the National Lottery. Anything else can get you locked up and if you are a foreigner you may get deported after your jail time is up. So twice a month a buy a lottery ticket. I win about 1/3 of the time which is OK by me. I never won big money, but the ticket cost about US$3 and the smallest payout is about US$60 and that is if your last two numbers (in this case 03) is chosen. The more numbers you hit the larger the payout!

In India also the gambling is illegal except for the Horse Racing! Despite that people gamble illegally on anything right from sports to weather conditions with private book makers, who often are caught and prosecuted for committing the offense! I am not a gambler though I am very closely associated with horse racing! Thanks dear friend @Paradon !

I do have a budget for the Lottery because if I win I am going to do lots of things. I want to win millions of selfish reasons and charitable reasons.

Oh man, we were near the OC the other day and passed by a lot of casinos . . . good thing I have no interest in gambling! Winning 1/3 of the time is pretty good . . . I won a few bucks off the scratchers but that's about it!

So you have been up to this how often. I was just calculating. $6 per month x 12 = $72. That into how many years you have been participating in official gambling, minus $180. How much profit are you taking home Rich? Not to mention traveling up and down...for collecting your price money.

I win enough to make myself comfortable. And it is only about US$ 30 cents to collect!

Gambling is also illegal here in Switzerland, but we have Lotto and Lottery tickets. I play every week, I win small amounts time by time, hoping to get the big lot one day.
