California Dreamin', a nice classic song I discovered lately & I really like it. It was written by John Phillips and Michelle Phillips and was first recorded by Barry McGuire. However, the best-known version is by The Mamas & the Papas, who sang backup on the original version and released as a single in 1965.
The lyrics of the song express the narrator's longing for the warmth of Los Angeles during a cold winter in New York City.
I think I'll try to make a karaoke cover of it if I have time, lol.

Just went to listen to the song and of course I listened to a dozen more of their songs and then I found their life story and started watching that but now I have to get ready to go out but will listen to the rest of their story later.
While I love California Dreaming and I Saw Her Again, the song 12:30 fascinates me . A piece of that song has haunted my mind fo decades. I keep humming it and always forget what it is.
