Busy Life as a Working Mom

May 1, 2018 1:33pm CST
Juggling it all is difficult. Not sure if it is more difficult because I work non-traditional hours. I'm not quite sure how to even do it most days. My husband works non-traditional hours as well. I miss the days that I was a 100% stay at home. I enjoy my work. I absolutely love teaching yoga and the occasional catering gig is fun too. But the juggling is tough. And today I feel stress because something, don't know what, is wrong my van. In other words, money, money, money.... that is the other thing.... when i was staying home full time, I could wait to fix a vehicle. But now? I drive to work every single day except saturday.... No time to NOT have a vehicle. Busy. Stressful. Life.

Sometimes I forget how how much of a blessing reliable transportation is.

yes.... it's so stressful when your vehicle breaks down and you rely upon it.

I'm sorry you have been stressed. :( I hope things are going better for you now, as it's been a few months since you posted this, and I hope it didn't cost a lot to fix your van.

I understand. Especially driving is so necessary in your country and it is not so ideal to depend on the public traffic.

In our day you need a car if you work, you cannot do without. I imagine you miss the days you stayed at home.

I had similar feelings when I was working and juggling home and family life. It isn't easy. Hope your vehicle isn't too bad.

It must be difficult to juggle everything. It can be tricky to get everything done. Somehow we all manage.

You are always one of the busiest people around. I hope that vehicle holds up for you.

You do women a disservice. You were a working mom before. Now you are getting paid.

I hate having an unreliable car. Mine is fine but if I don't use it for a day or two the battery goes flat. When we come back from our trip, we'll buy a new battery. I hope you're able to get your car fixed promptly.
