As time goes by, the number of people diagnosed with diabetes(high blood sugar) increases dramatically. This is most definitely due to lifestyle and eating habits. People also who have family history of diabetes are at high risk of acquiring the disease. In order to prevent this from happening, we need to be conscious in our diet and eat healthy and in moderation. As blood sugar gets high, the more viscous the blood becomes and so making blood flow a bit rough, making it difficult for the heart to supply blood in small and distal parts of our body. This can result in many complications such as heart disease, blindness, and the most common non-healing wound on feet. We should be aware of this disease and prevent it from happening to us. I just share this information in order to help people to be aware and so help in minimizing the case rate increase of this deadly disease. If you want to share any thoughts about diabetes, feel free to comment down below. Thanks and God bless everyone!

I'd like to add that your post is about diabetes type 2, because it is about lifestyle. Type 1 is an autoimmun disorder.

@sergekid14 He takes metformin too and watches his diet. Hopefully we can keep it under control for a very long time.

Diabetes runs in my family, but thankfully, I am free of it. I agree that a healthy lifestyle goes a long way in its prevention. God bless you as well.

Prevention is better than cure. We must be careful of what we eat now since there are a lot of chemicals being added and it is not healthy. Lifestyle is another thing. People usually blame things most especially if they get sick or diagnosed of something. They tend to forget that they were the ones who chose the lifestyle.
