Hello friends!
Summers is on its high here. It takes my energy out of my body when I am out. Today I was at almost zero energy level and than I had this wonderful sugarcane juice which boosted my energy back.
We get it on hawkers and it is most preferred summer drink here. Do you like sugarcane juice as well? What is your favorite summer energy drink?

I've never tasted it. Is that real sugarcane in the picture?
I could use some summer here. It's still rather brisk outside.

@anamika161088 I don't like the sweetness of sugarcane. Sugar sweetness is different than sugarcane.

Iced tea is also refreshing. But I am little allergic to tea.

@anamika161088 I've never had sugarcane juice before! I wouldn't mind trying it though. The other day I made myself some celery juice. I added an apple and some ginger. Was really nice and healthy!

@anamika161088 No worries. And I read that celery is really great for speeding up weight loss, helps with our immunity, flushes out toxins, anti-inflammatory and other great things but can't remember.

I use to drink a lot of that stuff in China town, Manila when I was in college because it was near my late father's shop, yes it's a real refreshing and invigorating drink but not for those with high blood sugar.

I am a great fan of sugarcane juice but I avoid outside especially the one extracted without peeling it. You should know that most sugarcane growers use pesticides that goes into your system if used unpeeled which could give you serious health problems. I have not had any juice of any other fruit too for last decade or so for the same reason but extract them at home itself.

when i was young, we would eat sugarcane and seep the juices coming out of the strips bitten from the wood itself
