Going Home

Lodi, California

I've spent most of my life moving and traveling. In a big part, it was for work. Then, after more than 10 years, it's time to go "home". People change, places change, and it's difficult to feel at home anymore. How do you determine what your hometown is?

I consider my hometown as the place where I grew up and where I spent most of my childhood. I call it my permanent residence. A place where I would always go back to. My home is in a different place though but about 65km away from my hometown. It's where my own house is and where I live with my own family.

Anywhere will be home as long as your love ones are there with you. It could be a familiar place or maybe not. But what is important is that you feel safe and loved
