What she said

I have a friend who occasionally posts here that I have known online for years. Her name is @DanishCanadian . On Facebook the other day she stated that she and her husband had an Amazon cart full of things on their wish list that they need. She just doesn't want to spend the money. I have a few items I would like from Amazon, and I have money in my account--I just do not want to spend the money. Just like she said.

I always seem to do this and often wondering why. But many times for me they are more of a wish or want than a need

I do not put stuff in a cart until I am ready to buy. My Amazon is the place I get gifts for people and I always find it easier to do that than to buy for myself. I am needing some things for some natural beauty aids, though.

I have a few things in my wish list, I will move to the cart when I am ready to buy.

My wish list is the one full of things I would like to buy! Priorities, responsibility and well... just not wanting to spend the money keeps my Amazon wish list growing. One year, for my birthday, my husband got me something from my Amazon wish list. I thought he was being thoughtful and knew me so well... turns out, he just looked through my list and got me something that wasn't too expensive ^_^

@Courtlynn I find that if I do not spend that little bit now and then pretty soon I want to make a big splurge.

Wanting and wishing is very easy. Finding or earning money is not so much.

Me too. I may do some shopping soon, when I have time to think first about what I really need.

Same here, I do buy what is needed thou, like the iron pill I found on there that I can actually take. There is a lot I would like, guess that is why it is called a wish list .. lol

I love being able to look around and choose what is best for me. Yes, the rest is wishful thinking.

I can't remember if I've ever shopped on Amazon, but I have bought some books online, so maybe I did. Whatever. I don't post wish lists, or even need lists, but I have a friend that somehow gets it in her head that I'm looking for something and so points out to me whenever that something is available. "There's that thing you wanted." "When did I say I wanted it?"

I have had friends like that. Or, "I know you want to see this movie." Leaves me puzzled.

I don't usually put anything in the cart without actually buying them.

I agree, that would describe her. She is very cautious with her spending.

I guess she doesn't need the stuff too badly or she'd get busy and buy it.

I've put stuff in virtual carts. Thought about it for a few minutes and emptied the cart and move away. I don't need more stuff.

I buy gifts, often books. I also like to get essential oils or stuff like that, but right now I am conscious of my space. You are rubbing off on me.
