Sunny Saturday

Today is a sunny Saturday. We finally fixed the hosepipe in the garden. It took some engineering as the pipes were split in chunks and we had to connect them all using plumbing parts. Now, the pipe is filling up a duck pond ready to be used by our one resident duck. It is still very sunny so we are still spending some time in the garden. The husband has skinned and cooked the rabbits that have been hanging in the porch for two weeks - he will feed them to the dogs as they are a bit too old for us at this point. And then we will be relocating the rhubarb plant that our chickens have been nibbling! Later, when the sun goes down will be potting about in the kitchen, then perhaps have a roast dinner and settle down with a book and some knitting for the evening. I really love Saturdays!
