The photo is of my oldest nephew the one who is graduating from college. This photo was taken in Bali, in the monkey jungle. Apparently, this was in conjunction with some work he had been doing for a professor. I plan to see him next weekend as his parents are throwing him a graduation party. The trip to Bali seems very exotic indeed! I am thinking this may be the closest I ever get to it! Do you know anyone who has gone to the South Pacific? It must be fantastic!

I live in New Zealand and have been on a couple of cruises in the South Pacific and South East Asia. It's a common holiday destination from here.

I think if it was me, I would have more expression on my face..it isn't every day you have a wild monkey, baboon or whatever, perched on you!

I'm sure he'll have a great time and have plenty to talk about at his party. Great picture!

Almost everyone who lives in Western Australia has been to Bali as it is close to us and cheap to get to and stay there. My brother-in-law is now living there and loves the lifestyle. The climate suits him too as he has a lung condition.

Well, it is much closer to you than to the Eastern United States. It is across the world from us.

@JudyEv If I lived in your neck of the woods, I think I would go to Tahiti or Fiji, Bora, Bora maybe.

@snowy22315 That's very true. There aren't too many exotic holiday resorts that are close to us. We haven't been there yet and I doubt somehow that we ever will.
