My Son Graduated

My younger son graduated from College yesterday. He has majored in Criminal Justice. The Graduation Ceremony was nice. My older son graduated from a Technical College 7 years ago. Now both my sons have graduated from school.
It is an odd feeling as a parent to have the kids all finished with school. When they were young starting school, High School and College seemed so far off in the future. But really, the time has gone by fast, it has flown by.

@LeaPea2417 My son, I worried about his schooling. Chad didn't know what he wanted to do. Now, he's settled in and very happy.

Hearty Congratulations to both the boys on becoming independent and to start a new life to contribute the Society!
Congratulations to you parents who were instrumental to make them able and capable to serve the society and for adding two feathers in your respective Caps!
Having said this I would like to clarify that I really get confused with the College and School and the graduation...I would like to explain what we we have here in India and why the confusion...!
India is a common wealth country and we still have British influence here! In our education pattern we have following steps where the child climbs up to have the top qualification.
Pre- Nursery or Play school - children between 2 and 3 years age
Nursery - children between 3 and 4 years.
Kinder garden - 5 years, next is
Primary - Class I to Class V - this is done in primary School.
Secondary - Class Vi to Class X - this is also done in School, student passing the exam s by the Board gets a Secondary school Certificate here which is commonly known as Matriculation certificate.
Higher Secondary - Class XI and Class XII - This is done in Junior College here and student gets a Higher Secondary School Certificate, Kindly here
Graduation- Where then students get a Bachelor's degree by an University but is completed in College in any discipline which is known as graduation!
Post Graduation- This is given by University which can be obtained in University or the affiliated College!
Doctorate - This is granted by the University but that cab be completed from then afflicted colleges to the University.
So kindly clarify me about the certificates offered in your country according to the age and oblige @LeaPea2417!

I believe you must have put in a lot of hard work before your two children graduate. Our parents always have a lot of pressure when they grow up. I'm going through this right now. Congratulations, you can relax for a while.

Congratulations! Will he take up Master's Degree soon? When I graduated from college, I thought I will no longer study for another degree but that did not happen. I took up Master's Degree. After I finished it, I thought it will be the end of my schooling but after 1.5 years, I decided to take up Doctor's Degree. Funny how things go even I already came up with a decision.

Congratulations!! You must be proud to have two graduate sons making parents proud. I wish your sons all the best with their journey ahead!!
Yes, Time flies. You realize it more after becoming parents. The memories of my elder daughter to her first day to Montessori is still so fresh and it seems like yesterday. This year she is going to High School.
