Hello, everyone! I have watched a video on YouTube to use my keyboard more effectively. I use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Ctrl+D to copy, paste or delete something, I know some other useful tricks, but it turned out that I have never used Tab button, although it has many functions. As far as I understood, I can switch to another window or line with it and make an element active. It has a number of functions when pressed with another button. Do you use Tab button on your keyboard? Or is it only for programmers? Do you try to learn something new about your laptop or prefer to use only the ways you have already known?

I had to look for it as I have never used it or know what to do with it. I wonder if I really need to use it?

The Tab key is a large key on a keyboard, and it might be handy to have a large key available. I used it with a word expander software during years to expand abbreviations. As I was needing the tab key itself times to times I had redirected it to another one which is quite never used on a French azerty keyboard.

Of course, you know 'Tab's original function was "putting 5 spaces in a line of text (usually at the beginning)." On the internet ... yes, I use it often. Usually (if I have more than one window open in my browser), Ctrl+Tab (or Ctrl+Shift+Tab) changes from one window to the next. On a form, pushing Tab will move the cursor from one entry-line to the next.
