My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary last week. We just ate in the "Buffalo Wings" restaurant and bought a small cake for us

We just celebrated our 29th anniversary last month and we grilled stakes out and stayed at home.

I think yours was the perfect way to celebrate for you. I am currently single though I had to have been married I think the perfect way to celebrate would just be time together however it is spent. Although I'm really partial to picnics. By Moonlight
