black or blue..most of the time when you are filling out papers they ask you to use blue or black...i think of red is like a color the teacher would use to grade paper..

well i like blue and black ink when i write i always use blue or black pen and i really like ink pens i give the importance more then ball point beacuse ink pen is the best...
