Just curious, what does everyone think of this? Let's all put politics aside & really think deeply about this. These 3 wonderful Americans have finally been freed, one of them being a professor. Also, another one being detained in front of his wife, never seeing her again for multiple years. Personally, I think this is a great achievement under the Trump Administration. The fact that these American men stepped foot on U.S. soil again is incredible. Seeing their families again after what may have felt like years to them, having the freedom of an American again... I couldn't begin to imagine the feelings they felt. Sitting up until 3am waiting to see Mike Pompeo's plane land, as well as the plane the former prisoners were on, was definitely worth the tiredness I felt the next day. That moment was full of happiness & I'm not ashamed to say it got my emotions & made tears come to my eyes. So, like I said, let's put all politics aside & think about how great of an achievement this was. How would you feel if you were those families & your husband, father, cousin, whatever, had the chance to walk freely on American soil again?
