Weekend Time!

So what are your plans? We were going to go hiking for Mothers Day at my request but it is to rain. So change of plan is we will work together and clean the house, go thru more of the stuff from the storage unit he got and they are taking me out to dinner for Mothers Day.
As long as I get to spend it with them it is all good. So we have been working on school of course and once again I cant wait til it is over, probably even more then Tessa. It has been a long year and I normally love learning and reading but I'm over the way they do it. We so deserve this summer vacation.
Making a list of some of the places I want to go. Nothing great to some however, I'm wanting to go hiking and doing the outside things I enjoy now that I'm getting so much better. What about you any summer plans?

@mlgen1037 Feet hurt him bad but we havent found anything to really help them. Other then that he is doing pretty good. Thanks for asking.

I hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day with your family. I don't have any plans for this weekend, other than to get some writing done. I need to figure out how to get my mom a gift, since I currently can't exactly travel over to her place and visit her.

@Srbageldog Im so proud of you not falling down or up the stairs! lol
I have never ridden one of the scooters even thou hubby wanted me too, maybe I should have!
So hope it is good! Heading over to see if you have more up on the ankle situation.

@Ithink I am glad you had a great day! I actually ventured out to my parents' house for Mother's Day. And I survived using the stairs without any missteps! Then Monday evening I went out with my boyfriend to Walmart, and got to ride in a scooter around the store. It was so much fun.
I saw the orthopedist this morning, actually, and he sent me for another followup x-ray. He is supposed to call me sometime this evening to let me know what it shows. If it's all good, then I can ditch the boot and start walking with the use of my crutches, so I gradually bear weight on that ankle. And then I'll probably have a couple weeks of physical therapy. (Fun...)

I sent a red envelope to my brother with wechat. Then tell him to take our mother to eat some delicious food. Because I am far from home, I can't go back to see my mother.I wish you a happy mother's day in advance!

That may not be a good mother's day to some, but cleaning up and being productive is good! And dinner out is always nice! I think some go way too far with celebrating sometimes anyways.
No plans for mothers day, besides making mom cinnamon rolls for breakfast - with orange juice on the side.

@Ithink right, who cares how others spend the day, not everyone is crazy over going out and doing expensive things and what not. Its your day, do what you want.
yes, but neither of us are big first thing after getting up eaters, and I make almost all our food anyways lol

Ohh that's sad to hear but you can still celebrate it at home ..
I will just call my mom and I sent her a gift .. I am far from home so I can't celebrate mother's day with her..
