Apparently I'm looking "slimmed"

While I was at the gym today I popped my head into the back room which is where they have moved the Transformation Gym. That's where I started doing the 6 week challenges (and lost 45 pounds) and it used to be located in a different location, but they recently moved it to the back room of the location where I go now.
I started talking to a girl that I know who I am trying to convince to make the move to the advanced classes and the manager/trainer of the Transformation Gym came over. She asked if I had "slimmed". I laughed and said "the scale says no". She said that she didn't ask about my weight.
So I guess my body is doing that thing it loves to do: building muscle. That would make it change shape I guess. I have to get on the scale every time I see one of my doctors and I was just there 2 weeks ago. He always starts the weight at 150 and I always have to move it to 200. He said "you don't look like you weigh over 200 pounds". I guess I hide it well.

You may not think you are losing but others that don’t see you as often are the ones that notice it. And just remember muscle weighs more don’t go by the scale go by how your clothes are fitting you.

What's important is how you feel aching shoulder aside.

Good for you.
I actually check the scale to see my weight but I put more importance on how I look and feel. Progress and health looks different on everyone.

I think we are in the same boat there, they tell me that at the doc too, most of my weight is in my mid section and just won't go away no matter what I do. Good for you for looking slimmer, thats a start because if you have to carry the weight at least no one will know its there if your slimmer.

I've been told, but don't know if it's true, that muscle(healthy) is heavier than fat(unhealthy). So as a person develops more muscle, they can weigh more than a person with lots of fat. My guess is, you DO look slimmer!

@NJChicaa Yes, I heard that, also:) With more muscle, a person burns calories at max speed
