I do not like to watch TV and hardly watch it. But today I finished all my work at tornado speed to stay glued to TV and keep watching the updates on Karnataka election. The verdict will be out by evening. I do not want to miss any update and so all my work today will be in front of my TV set. So unusual of me The other times I stay glued to TV set when there is nail biting cricket match. Do you stay glued to TV for anything?

Not really, like to read books more. Though once upon a time used to be glued to so.e serials but that was way back in the 80s when there was just a clue of shows per day

Those were golden days. Less choices made it more enjoyable!!

I like a couple sporting events, especially the football team where I live. Green Bay is a huge football city. I'm definitely a fan so when the team is playing, I'm watching. There are also a couple shows I enjoy. But mostly you will find me right here. I hope the election went well.

@arunima25 You are right! LOL! I guess it depends who thinks it's fake. Here in the USA, there is someone who thinks everything is fake.

Fake and made up stories...News have become like thriller movies.

@FayeHazel Yes it is!! Yesterday my heart kept fluctuating with the fluctuating numbers on the screen and finally I was disappointed by a hung verdict

If I watch TV it's after dinner and that's pretty much it. There is always something productive to do that TV would just take away from. That being said, elections are important, so when it is election time here...I am glued.

@arunima25 Me too. Most of what's on TV is a brain drain, plain and simple.

Same here. It is election or some interesting crucial cricket match that makes me watch TV. I prefer to do more sensible things than killing time with TV

@arunima25 I am not a chef by training but many of my friends ask me to cook for them! Even my Thai friends who do not eat bread will knock at my door! Hopefully next month I will buy a new stove/oven and the show will be back. I can cook just about anything so long as I can get the proper ingredients! LOL. nothing like a little back patting!

@arunima25 Happy that we are not getting a hung assembly. The single largest party elected by government is coming to power. Democracy wins!!

We never stay watching TV for long periods. We might watch the news each night but that's about it.
