I've mentioned lossin my parents last year in 2017, but I've never really touched base on the situation. I really could use some comments and thoughts of wisdom, my heads messed up even after a year and I don't know what to do with myself. I've a depression, and a funk I can't get out of. When I look at my parents photos it feels like a dream and I can't wake up, I stay as busy as I can so I don't have time to think.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost both of my parents. My father passed from cancer 21 years ago and my mom passed from Diabetes 15 years ago. Even though they have been gone for so long, it still seems fresh. I still mourn for them and still cry sometimes because I miss them so much. I often think about them and think about all they have missed seeing and being a part of the important things in my life.
Everyone mourns differently and the grieving period doesn't adhere to a specific schedule. It takes people different lengths of time as you go through the process. It's okay that you still feel the pain of their loss. Our parents are very important to us and we love them very much so it is very hard when they are gone. Give yourself time and if you are having difficulty with your daily life because of your grief then seek professional grief counseling. They can help you. Staying busy is one way to deal with it but there are others that may help you more. I wish you luck and hope you can find peace soon.

So sorry to hear that. How did they die? Together? Was it in an accident?
I too have lost my parents. Mom had a stroke and dad was really terrible he had dimentia and slowly deteriorated because he doesn't remember anything anymore

It's tough, I drove out to the desert and was not expecting to return, but nature said otherwise and a bottle of jack. It was a pretty surreal experience. Makes you really see how bad you want to end things and things did not get much better but there is something that must be out there or I would still be in the desert. Why I get so mad we killed our spiritual heart in the native Americans. Not sure if you are American but sure you have some spiritual people. Would have did me a world of good at that time.

Keeping busy is good. It takes time to heal....especially when it's unexpected.
My condolences.

Ohh I am so sorry to hear that and condolences to your parents..
Just always think that they are now happy wherever they are, it's really hard to accept that but you need to be strong.. I am sure , your parents want you to be happy even without them..
Good luck !
