How to deal with a female supervisor that doesn't like you...

May 15, 2018 7:59am CST
I find that whenever I work somewhere in a large company, one if the female staff always have an issue with me. Now, I am a friendly person, but I am also the type of person that doesn't get into people's personal business. Yet, and, still some of the females just don't like me for some reason. So my questions is do women actually dislike other women because they are better looking? If so I think that is really silly. Also, how do you deal with a supervisor that does like you?

I don't think people should be judged on the basis of their appearances. I don't find any logic behind disliking you just because you look good. It's better to talk less with those with whom you cannot adjust.

That is so true. There are other factors to consider.

The only true opinion I worry about now is God's. His is the only one that will matter forever.

I can hardly comment anything about it for I am not a female and moreover I never had a chance to work under a supervisor, Yes as far as your point of looking better is concerned yes, females always feel jealous of other women who are more better looking! Thanks!

lol I'm always the supervisors pet I make it a point to try and be understanding of them. Here in the US it is usually the female authority figure in the work place who is looked down on because of the way they are perceived. Some women think they need to take on a "masculine" character to be in charge and that doesn't set well with a lot of people because it comes off unnatural. It's not totally their fault though

Most of the time, yes. Sometimes too, the person is good at work or simply threatened or not just their type to be with. I think with a supervisor like her, I usually answer them with facts. I did it to my former boss.
