Leftover Rice-a-Roni for breakfast

This isn't my rice - but it's as close as I could get to what it looked like

So, I took the leftover rice from dinner last night and added two take-out packs of soy sauce to it and a little more olive oil to the pan and started to reheat it all. Meanwhile, I scrambled an egg while the rice heated up. I poured the egg into the center of the rice and then stirred it all so the egg would be evenly distributed and cooked until the egg was done. Then I enjoyed my breakfast. I do the same thing with leftover fried rice from takeout. I really do enjoy it all that way. What do you do with your leftover rice?

That is a great way to use up leftover rice.

If it was plain white rice, I'd have tried to make chicken rice soup.

I use it in breakfast burritos, but my daughter doesn't like rice, so I don't use it in dinner burritos.

We stock up on Knorr noodle dishes. We have some rice dishes that my daughter will actually eat, but usually she's only willing to eat noodles.

I often save it for my puppies, so far I've given them something good.

Our big puppy (two years old) won't eat rice. We do that with some things.

I didn't want to throw the pork chop out. I also thought of chopping it into tiny mince and adding it to spaghetti sauce.

I like soy sauce rice. It will taste better that you added scrambled egg inside. I know it tastes well

My daughter doesn't either. That's why I had so much left over.

I didn't have any cheese and only had one egg and no salsa, so the burrito wasn't Halle ing. It was time to grocery shop, which got done today.

If I also had pinto beans or refried beans, I would do that, too. We have several packs of tortillas in the fridge.

Mine is like fried rice, but other than the soy sauce, it's already seasoned. I don't have to do much more to it.
