If god give's me this opportunity I prefer to have this both the houses and apartments at the same time I have my house and income.
But as of now we're living at my parents house.
Hope someday I can get neither house or apartment. It's ok for me even small atleast I have.

If I were with my family, a house. If I were alone, an apartment.

If you can afford to buy yourself a house why not. The only reason people try to get an apartment is its cheaper to pay the rent than paying for the amortisation when you buy a house. But in the long run, it is more advantageous to get your house because the amount you pay for your house if properly paid for will be cheaper in the long haul and after sometime it becomes your property when you are done with your loan payments. Where in an apartment the landlord may evict you or increase you monthly rental overtime making it more harder too pay and eventually forcing you to look for other affordable apartment.

if i'm going to build apartments for rent, i'd prefer it nearby so i can easily monitor everything.

@cheche28 what i mean is people tend to build rental apartments in a different city or outside of the capital so they aren't able to closely monitor the people living there or if they have already wrecked the place.

Living in a house of your own is much better than renting an apartment. So i love to have a house of my own soon.
