Something is better than nothing!

Last Sunday I was coming out of the theatre after watching a blockbuster and all of a sudden a woman approached me and asked for some change to buy a sandwich. I usually try my best to ignore all these types of unwanted botherations on my way, but this time something inside told me to help this woman in distress. I reached out for my pocket and give her some change. To my surprise, she yelled at me "this is not enough for a sandwich". I assured her that it was not possible for me to afford more that time. She began to repeat the same request to me. It was getting cold and I turned my back and walked on. I never knew whether the change could fetch her a sandwich or not. She should have understood the fact that something is better than nothing!
