I never thought of naming my cars before, but one day I was visiting a friend and her granddaughter asked me what my car’s name was.
I said it didn’t have a name.
She looked at it, and since it’s black, she said “How about Blackie?”
I didn’t like that so I said “How about Jackie?” and that’s what we call it now. Jackie!

No, didn't name my previous one which was a Mercedes Benz van. Will likely name my next car.

Yeah you can name your car and it's nice when you are referring it in that name, seems like a family member in your household.

Our first family vehicle was a 1988 model Plymouth Voyager minivan, which I named "Vanna White" (it was white). Vanna White was my celebrity obsession at that time and I named everything after her.
I have not named any cars since, however, I have a mental list of cars that I would like to own one day and what I would name them if, God willing, I ever got to purchase one. If I ever had a Dodge Challenger, for instance, I would name it Scobee. If I got a white BMW 320i (one of my dream cars), I would lean towards Gardenie (German for "gardenia"). Each name carries a special meaning to me.
