Once again I have fallen into the dementia of my sweet tooth. On the way back from my morning coffee and walk, I ran into one of my favorite places to pick up a quick breakfast. Usually rice and pork, but I saw this little package hiding away and calling my name. However, it was almost healthy as each piece had sticky rice as a base.

I love sticky rice. Here in the Philippines we call it "malagkit" and is the main ingredient in many native snack food delicacies.

@Paradon _What do they call it in Thailand? Is it a part of their "street food"?

@josie_ They are called "Khanom Wan Thai." And it definitely is part of street food.

And it was filling too! Quite often a sweet item will leave me hungry for more, but this was just enough. At least until lunch..I hope!

That was the first one I ate. But they were all too good! That was the only pack she had this morning or I would have bought more.

If only they have 4 of that I will buy them and ask the hawker to customize that seperately

@id_peace I am sure that if I went to the main part of the city, Pattaya, I could find them sold separately, but since this is still the Monsoon season, I will just stick closer to home!

I think there are Thai restaurants in Toccoa and perhaps you can find some there!

@mlgen1037 not too sure. Lately I have been eating veggie samosas from one of the Indian shops around here, but I am not sure what I want. I really enjoy Indian food and so does my wallet!
