Letting go or still holding on?

How far will you sacrifice in the name of love. Sometimes letting go is less painful than holding on. Here I am awake at dawn, not because I'm suffering from that kind of problems but because I slept too early. Just wondering.

Both letting go and holding on can be painful. I've done both and at the end of the day you have to think of yourself and what is healthiest for you. In my personal experience letting go too early is better than holding on too long. It takes a long time to heal from holding on too long....a lot of damage comes of that.

As for me, I did that before but my sacrifice is for naught. But there is a saying that "It is better to love and lost than never to have loved at all". I learned from that.
