A scary situation went down in the town about an hour away where I sometimes help out at another store. There was an active shooter situation that lasted a few hours.
Bay County Sheriff's Officials say the shooting suspect is dead

@Daelii I honestly don't think anything has gotten worse. Its just on the news more. And its forced down our throats everywhere. TV. Radio. Mobile apps. Social media.

@thislittlepennyearns You know whats scary... My husband has been watching a show, something like 80's deadliest decade. I know I was born in the 80's and as a kid was pretty oblivious to TV/news. I just don't recall ANYTHING like this. the most was when that little girl was abducted and I recall my grandmother saying the parents were in on it. So, I know people killing people is a common thing. unfortunately. Was this really happening back then? earlier than this? and we just don't know because news wasn't as easy to get like it is with the internet/tv? Has society changed? has it always been this way? WTH is really going on? If it is a change, can't be work to figure out what went wrong and fix it? or is it really to late and we need to start sending our kids in protective gear because its really seeming like its a once a week occurrence. not a matter of when its going to happen next and just a question of where???
