How do people of the world show their unique ways of being grateful and respectful?

Mylot is a platform for everyone around the globe. Many races, many faces and may ways of being grateful and respectful? For instance, the Japanese, bow their heads, the Americans hug each other and some races even kissed each other. Enlighten me, how do you guys show these? By gestures? By words? Name it.
