Technology and how we use it

For the last 30 years of my life, I have always had some kind of technology in my life. It started in 1988 with my first video game.It was a nintendo original game. My favorite game was super mario brothers 3. After that, I did not get any more technology until I got my first computer in 1998. It was a generic 90 mhz computer which was good at the time. Then a few years later I had a friend of mine build me a 300 mhz computer. which was later upgraded to a 400 then 500 mhz.. A few years later, I got a dell computer which I will never go through them again for various reasons. In 2007 I bought an hp computer which lasted until 2015 and probably longer to the person who bought it from my daughter. In 2012 I bought an hp laptop which I am using to write this. It has windows 8 and I love it. I bought my wife a laptop in 2016 with windows 10 in it and I cannot relate with it. Oh yeah, I forgot about all of the cellphones I got since 2000. First I had a basic phone, Then A flip phone. And in 2010, I got a smartphone which I currently have now, I just got a google pixel fixed that my daughter dropped by accident. It cost just over a hundred dollars and I am loving it more than the dinosaur I was recently using. That is all I have for now. Have a great weekend having fun with your technology

Technology has indeed changed over the years. Remember the time when just few people in the neighbourhood had a telephone or a television set. They were usually the richest people in the area. Now every house has a tv and a mobile in the house.

Technology has brought great changes to our lives. This is amazing. I wonder, what kind of changes will technology make in our lives in twenty years?

My introduction to technology was around the same time as yours, probably off by a couple years. My cousins got an Atari game and that was the end of our playtime outside. They were practically glued to their sets from sun up to sun down. I hated the game. I really couldn't relate. But, over the years, it grew on me. My brothers got the Sony and we used to spend hours with Sonic the hedgehog. In my bedroom as a teenager I had a typewriter, an electric one, and I used to be super proud of my typing speed. But by the time I was ready to graduate from high school, type writers were really outmoded, no one used them anymore. And I had to transition quickly to life on a computer. On my first job, we used the Apple Mac. I think technology has really become an integral part of our life and the way we communicate. We might just simplify it by speaking about phones and computers, but it's a lot more widespread (perhaps in an insiduous way even) than that.

That is a great response to this. I also used an electric typewriter when I was younger. The one thing I never got was the typing speed. oh well, at least I can still write on here.
