I've once heard from one of the dramas I've watched that the mind is the one who makes you feel the love not the heart, so I searched if it's true.
After searching it, I've found out that scientifically speaking it really is the mind who falls in love first but the heart is still related.
I am just amazed by this. All this time, I thought that the heart is the one that falls in love.

In it’s literal sense no. Remember we have a mind to choose whether we will love the person or not. The heart only beats for us to provide us the blood we need. Hahaha I hope am making sense.

When people say the heart (referring to love) they don't literally mean the heart. Of course it's the mind. It's just a romantic way of saying you have such a strong feeling towards someone that it flows through your veins like blood giving you life.

@mnglsp what if love was the side effect of a brain virus called "Cupid?"

@redhotpogo Let's install some anti-virus in our brain then. Hahaha

It has to be the mind first, then when the heart falls in love its real.

I think the mind is the master planner and reactor to all emotions, it is the brain that receives the information and sends it to other parts of the body, I think they use the heart more as a metaphor since it is a core organ that also makes the body function with its amazing ability to pump blood throughout the whole body. But it is always the mind or brain that emits all those emotions everywhere in the body and reflects with butterflies in the stomach, sweaty or shaky hands, fast heart rhythm etc.
This is just my opinion according to my logic, I could be wrong but it's awesome to know!

The only function of the heart is to pump out blood so we can move around .. The mind dictates our feelings .. And when we feel, the heart pumps faster that's why people thought that it's the heart that falls in love ..

It's just an illusion. Mind does all the trick. No involvement of heart while falling in love. Heart just feels reaction because of the thoughts perceived by mind. Brain plays important role in love.

I agree, it's the mind that falls in love. The heart really has no feeling, but the mind has emotions and can think. I think, therefore I am.
