The end of an era

I joined thanks to an ad on MySpace and For almost 12 years, I was a member of a site for moms called cafemom and as of May 24th, 2018 the site is gone. It makes me sad. I've made a few friends in real life from cafemom. I've done play dates, been a paid mod for the site, received gift cards and products as an influencer (basically reviewed the items). Once we even did a meet up and I won a raffle and scored tickets to see Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias live at Madison Square Garden. At least I have mylot, eh?

So many moms are all upset over the loss of the site. Some of them started their own spinoff websites

oh no! I heard it was just the forums that was going away? Is the whole site going down?
I loved that site when I needed it. It was helpful as a step-mom and has a new-mom. I loved the trying products for reviews and even received a few gift cards to buy products/do things for review.
It had been years since I went there.

I was a member of a forum since I was a child and that place is still exists but it is now ghost town. I won't be shock if the forum closes down soon.

So, Myspace is closing too? It's sad when a site is retiring where you had fun & success.
Maybe you'll find another site like it. Mylot is fun, but it's a forum only. So yeah at least we got mylot

MySpace the way it was back then closed down for a while. It is back but as a site mostly for musicians. I don't know anyone who really uses MySpace anymore. I still have mine but only to save my old pictures.

@acrogodess Well Myspace is partly owned by Justin Timberlake now so it have a focus on music for indie singers.
