She calls my mom arrogant (part 2): The husband

Today my mom accompanied by her friend who came to visit yesterday went to Mrs.K's house. I was so impatient waiting for her to get home. She was gone for about 2 hours, and when she finally home I felt relieve. According to my mom, Mr.K is very welcome when she's there, while Mrs.K didn't want to meet her, she said she didn't feel good. So, my mom told her side of the story. However, Mr.K knows about the money a year ago, but he thought that Mrs.K has paid it back. He was shocked that she hasn't. He then went to his bedroom tried to make his wife to meet my mom but Mrs.K refused and seemed intentionally talked in loud voice "I don't expect any guest today" I think Mr.K is really a nice person, he apologized to my mom for Mrs.K's behavior and said he will take care of the problem. I'm glad that my mom and Mr.K had civil conversation. I was looking after my niece when 2 men, each ride on motorcycle, came. Later I knew that it was Mr.K and his nephew. Mr.K talked with my mom for a moment then left with his nephew. He left one of the motorcyle in front of our garage. My mom looked hesitant when Mr.K gave her the key, my mom told him that he didn't have to leave the motorcycle as a guarantee cos she believes that Mr.K is man of his words (I'm proud of my mom cos of her kindsness and never have bad thoughts of others, but sometimes I hate it), but Mr.K insisted. He said he wants to give a lesson to his wife. The motorcycle is Mrs.K's and he asked my mom a favour to keep it secret from Mrs.K. Turns out he told Mrs.K that he'd take her motorcycle to a pawn shop but the truth is he took the motorcyle to our house and asked my mom to keep it secret for a month. So Mr.K left and promised my mom that he will come back next week to bring the money. I feel bad for Mr.K that he has to deal with someone like Mrs.K. I hope Mrs.K doesn't have another loan she keeps secret from her husband. To be continue ...
