Music helps to explore different emotions just by listening to it, it can also be acts as a distraction to our problems. So it can be extremely effective way of reducing or relieving stress. The relaxation that we feel when we listen to music is truly hepls us to fight the battle between our own minds, whenever we are feeling down, having an anxiety attacks and dealing with depression, it's like we are meditating ourselves.

I agree with @simplfred. Some music can help you to relax but some can get you affect your emotions in a completely different way too. Me? I like things like the sound of birds or wind rustling through leaves or a running spring... sounds like that to relax. If I had to think about human music, I tend to lean to classical music.

Maybe depends on the sound or it depends to the listener mood. I agree that some music will relax you but some music will add to your longings especially when it reminds you of something.

I also agree, it really depends on a person's taste in music and what mood they are currently having.

Omg I could relate so much haha. It doesn't matter how our voice sounds, as long as we are able to express our feelings.

I like to go onto You Tube to listen to amazing music which is uplifting. It relieves stress and makes me feel more energised. I like to go to a dancing lesson once a week that has world music great for energetic dancing. I think when studying for exams students could try listening to classic music because they assist memory of facts.
