Advice to Give to a Suicidal Friend?

I have this friend who is suffering from depression.
She's suffering from:
- An existential crisis because she doesn't know about how her depression came up and why she has it
- Loneliness because people who claim to love her aren't really listening to her
- Pressure for keeping up her grades from academics.
I don't know how to console her because even if I suffered depression, I suffered because of trauma, but I am trying my best.
She is currently under medication and under therapy, but she's not getting better because there's still something missing, she says.
Is there any kind of advice that you can give?

I don´t think there´s much we can do, as even doctors say. But it is important that she is not left alone. So it might be a good idea to have friends take turns to be with her, day and night.

@marguicha Very strange indeed! It's as if they're not even true friends to begin with. :(

The only problem with that is that her friends in medical school are beginning to shut her out and my circle of friends that she's friends with are also busy, so she only has me to talk to online because we're too far away from each other.

Since she is already doing therapy, we hope that helps her. Introduce her to myLot. Maybe she needs something constructive and fun to do.

True. She needs help aside from what she has right now, and it's been almost a year since she's started taking meds.
