When was the last time you looked up the night sky and admire the celestial beings?

I can't remember the last time I took a moment to stare at the night sky. When I was younger, I used to go up our roof and wonder about the creator/creation of the universe, and how we compare to the size of the stars and the moons, the other planets. As I feel the night breeze in my face I stretched my arms to reach the stars, I feel a sense of amusement and calm.

Not since I was a kid. I used to love looking up at the night sky and I miss being able to look up and see the milky way. I can't quite do that out here where there are so many lights.

@andromedaestelle Yeah, seeing them again would be nice.

Maybe it would be a good random activity we could all try once again :) I understand your sentiment, not to mention too much "gasses" up in the sky that clouds the stars...

How often would you say you do it? When did you start liking star gazing? Have you started to use apparatuses? or went to planetariums and star gazing activities?

About an hour ago, my Mom and I were just outside looking at the moon and at these very, very, dark clouds passing over it at a super-fast speed. The winds here are really wild right now too. I asked her if she could feel the electricity in the air, and she said no. I told her that the strong winds we were experiencing were the "winds of change" and that people were making rash decisions at that very moment. Then she asked me what "rash decisions" meant and I had to explain to her that it was like quick, impulsive, and sometimes dangerous decisions. The combo of the full moon, the fast-moving clouds, the wind, and all the electricity was causing strange things to happen...and she just gave me this blank look like she had no idea what I was talking about, as usual.

Welcome to My Lot. When I visit islands in the South Pacific I have been amazed by the brightly lit night sky. I haven't been to any in years. Enjoy your time on My Lot.

A decade ago laying on a friend's driveway with a few other people. I saw so many stars. It looked like a giant glistening spider web covered in morning dew. And I saw shooting star after shooting star after shooting star. They just kept suddenly dropping like raindrops on a window that slowly inch down the glass, pause, and then drop so quick to the bottom. I also saw a light zipping around from star to star. Back and forth bouncing around like a pinball. I looked up into the sky for so long that I felt like I might fall off the Earth, and reached out to grab onto something.

It will depend on what belief you are on. There are some believe that this universe is the product of the experiment. (God creation) There are some belief that the universe comes from the big bang. My personal belief is that the universe came from the black hole. As we know that the blackholes trapped everything that comes closed by and nothing would escape from them. As we compress everything to a point due to gravity, counter gravity will come in and therefore it would have explode pushing everything out.
