What does "freedom" mean to you?

All of us have a different take on freedom. It might be due to our distinct personalities and experiences that we gain a sense of freedom on various things/ activities/ thoughts/ beliefs.
Freedom for me is more of a constant choice and mindset. For me there are many limiting factors for freedom and I do my best to refuse anyone to take it away from me by making the meaning of freedom for me more personal. If there are things that's beyond my control might be in family life or in work I opt to focus more on things that I could have the way I wanted. I try my best not to hold any grudges, though that is still a (lot of) work in progress. I still have the urges to complain and point fingers but I try to let go of it/ release the feeling as fast as I could.
Basically that's what I consider freedom for me.
I would like to know more about your freedom.

Freedom is the power to choose our own chains.

It sounds like and after giving it a few thoughts, it sounds like love...
Somehow like what bob marley said in his famous quote of the truth in loving, that everyone is going to hurt us, we just get to choose who it would be... :)

To me freedom is me being able to make my own decisions and make my own life for me and for my cat.

Freedom for me is being able to do what I want and to choose what I think is still right for me, however still being responsible for whatever the outcome.

Freedom to me is simply being myself, allowing yourself to be human, which includes making mistakes. Treating everyone with the respect they deserve but not live up to anyone's expectations of me according to their own criteria or beliefs nor allow others to disrespect me. Freedom is something beautiful and sometimes things or people, whether it is intentionally or not, may want to take that from you but you are free the moment you remind yourself that you are worthy and no one can tell you otherwise because you are a beautiful human being and you are you.
Wow, that was intense! XD but this is really what I think :)

For me freedom is the way I live by myself. It's the way a person expresses his/her character to others.
