When was the last time you remembered that your parent's are not just secondary characters in your life...

It might be the deadlines brought about by the school or our work, the pressure that we endure with our peers and/or colleagues or us trying to map out our future career/plans/ own families that we may sometimes forget to consider that our parents are individuals of their own too. Persons with their own set of stories to tell, though we may think we have heard it all, with their own aspirations despite their old age, who also needs our interest and support and not just always the other way around...

They are one of the greatest factors for being wherever we are today.
I'm much closer to my dad, but lately I've realized that I may have been neglecting my mom because of this preference. So now, I'm trying to know her more and be gentler and kinder to her.

I miss my parents too... We have to cherish everyone as long us we can.

It was the day I left my house to live with my ex-bf (my husband now). I realized that I need them more than anything.
