Welcome! The best advice I can give you is to just enjoy it. Interacting as much as you can and starting your own discussions and allowing people to interact with you is what will make your earnings go up, but I find that at least for me, if I focus on that too much, it starts to feel like a chore. So make sure you know the rules and guidelines here (they're pretty straightforward and easy to follow), but other just have fun!
Also, don't be too shy about posting or sharing things. This is a very friendly community, I find.
