This is a kind of common breakfast for Chinese and it is simply made by flour and there is no filling inside. I used the bread machine to make the dough. Then I took it out to shape and steam it. It is very easy. I made this as my husband likes it. I don't know why because there is no filling and I can't find it special I always put some butter on it so that it will be tasteful for me.

Hi Youless. This is like the cuapao that we have here. It has no filling inside but a soft bread. We usually eat that when we eat at Chinese restaurants.

@youless We are complete opposites. Not really a fan of those, except for siopao.

Can you put filling? I think I'd like this more with filling. Nonetheless looks tasty :) and butter would work too!

Seems to be bread. I guess it won't taste good without filling any thing in it.

Some people enjoy this kind of simple food. Perhaps simple is the best.

I added a little salt and sugar according to the recipe. So it is not completely tasteless. Some people just enjoy eating such simple things, such as my husband
