New laptop or secondhand laptop / myLot

I keep thinking, i don't know which one laptop should i purchase. New one or second hand laptop. I want to use laptop to do some work. When i see and survey the new laptop the price like 1.5k but the spec laptop and processor are low. Then when i see second hand laptop cheap price like 1k the laptop sec are so high. Then should i buy new or second hand? The warranty for the new one is like 1year then 2nd hand is 3 month only.

I never buy second-hand gadgets. It is the same as buying second-hand cars... you will never know its real problems before the purchase and will have to waste much money on its fixing because it will be too late to return it back

Ah which means the new one is better. If the second hand laptop are sell by the budget computer shop, Can we still considered it as no problem? Some it labelled as refurbished by the shop before sell out.

@etavasi Total lie, my sister bought an iPhone which was claimed to be refurbished by the shop. As soon as the guarantee term finished, it turned out that the phone's inner part was totally broken and badly fixed... cannot imagine how it worked, but when problems began, she could do nothing and just bought a new one. It was around 5 years ago
