No! I don’t want to join your MLM scheme.

I have a regular job at a restaurant. Now it’s a fast casual restaurant, nothing fancy but I make my hourly wage plus tips are added to my check. Occasionally I receive cash tips directly from customers, not much but enough to offset my bus fare for the day here and there. I was working at the cash register yesterday afternoon and some lady comes in. We start speaking in Spanish and conversing and she hands me her card talking about how $135 a month for some crappy all natural “health” products can earn me a lifetime of residual income and of course keep me oh so healthy. Listen, lady. $135 is my electric bills or my cable/internet/phone bill. $135 is 2 weeks of groceries. $135 is bus fare and Uber rides to and from work for the month. I don’t appreciate you trying to scam me out of my hard earned money so you can make a quick buck. Take back your business card and You keep your multilevel marketing scheme and shove it where the sun don’t shine. Um, kay? That’s a big thanks, but no thanks to you.

MLMs have gotten a bad rep (and deservedly so), but there are good ones out there. Like one my friend was involved in ... but she's had 'a real job' for a while now, so I can't find any of the health-products' postings on her Facebook But their invitation to join is a big lie.
Multilevel marketing companies claim to be legitimate businesses, but some seem awfully…pyramid shaped. John Oliver and Jaime Camil demonstrate how they work...

@acrogodess Then you're never going to be satisfied. Better to be 'too busy serving' to even ppay any attention to how much money you're making.

I neither have the time, money or inclination to waste on MLM lol. If I’m going to start a business, it’s going to be one that makes me and only me money not someone at the top money

@mythociate I’m satisfied with making an honest living and not scamming others out of their hard earned money. :-)

Hi Lisette. Some people just want easy money that they think scamming others would be the good deal. Good thing you do not fall for their stupid marketing strategy.

I’d rather do honest work than scam people for money.

@acrogodess You are definitely right about that. So sad how people would do anything just to get money.

Pyramid schemes are only awesome if you are at the top of the Pyramid. People at the bottom will get a very bad awakening. That is why I avoid them. I am also not good at getting referrals.

Exactly. She’s like oh there’s no sales. You use the product yourself. So I’m buying the product every month and I’m scamming others to join? Thanks but no thanks smh

@acrogodess I worked for sales before and I remember the stress of rejection. I am done with that. Yeah they say there is no sales eventhough what they want you to do is to sell.
