I’d rather have my aunt.

My aunt died last year the day after my birthday. She wasn’t just my aunt, but also my godmother. I spent many a summer vacation, a winter break, a spring break with her in the large 7 bedroom home where she was the housekeeper. The family she worked for had previously employed my grandmother as both housekeeper and nanny. They then employed my aunt as housekeeper and my uncle as gardener. Both had other jobs too. I have an excellent work ethic thanks to my relatives. Anyway, the daughter in law Of the family they worked for was also my aunt’s friend And executor of the “estate” so to speak and so she contacted me stating she had something for me and it’s a brokerage account. It’s not much and in all honesty even if it had been a lot of money, I’d rather have my aunt alive and well.

I cannot agree with you more. There are ways I want to get a little more money, and ways I do not. This is one of the ways I'd rather not get it.

Am sorry for your loss. Can understand how you feel about money you got. Family is always more important than the money. Its good that you have inherited good work ethics from her too.
