You don't have a problem or some kind of sickness. You have a different set of standards than most people. Some men will date a woman and promptly want to take her to the bedroom. Some men look for a woman who is beautiful and is self absorbed. You need to realize that you have work and have a life too, and finding the right woman to date is a challenge. Just as it was a challenge for me to find the right man to date. I went for 17 years without a date, and the man I found is a perfect fit. We don't argue, we will rationally talk things out in a calm voice. We don't raise our voices unless it's an emergency like finding a semi poisonous snake near the other person. Our relationship is built on mutual respect and understanding and above all, love. It takes time for the right kind of love to grow. You need to look for a lady that shares your interests and in a way your lifestyle. She may not be the most beautiful person physically, but she will be that way to you because of the "kind" of person she is; that is a loving, giving, sharing and understanding individual. You will find the right lady soon, I'm sure of it. Just remember that sometimes finding the right person is a long lonely road but when you're about to give up there is the perfect match for you waiting there in the middle of that long road. I have faith that this will happen for you...after all you're a good looking guy (from your picture).

People where I live often meet at sporting events, in classes, or at church. It is good to join some group where people get together regularly because it should take some time together in a casual setting before people form a closer relationship. People who are attracted to quickly to strangers often find that does not work out well in the long run. But you have an advantage that many women like older men, whereas it is rare to see a younger man with an older woman. So you see, you have plenty of time. I met my first husband at work and the second playing on a sports team.

You're not sick, a lot of people have been having this problem as well. Dating is becoming a history lesson in schools, because this world has learned to live in the fast lane. Also, when you look for it you will never find it, but when you stop looking and let it happen naturally as it finds you, you'll see a big change.
