Yeah, the hands in the profile picture? They are not mine. You might have guessed that.
It's a picture of typing hands I downloaded from a public domain, free image distribution site, Pixabay. I thought it was cute and applicable cuz, well that's what I use my hands to do most the day, type. Anyways, I tested myLot in May (late April- May 2018)... call it user testing if you will... and I quite like the platform. I've said that many times. I do like the interactions I have had on here and I am thinking, maybe, that it would add to my credibility if I actually did 'out myself' so to speak and shared my own picture together with my account. Bit of a plain Jane, but what the heck, right?
So who knows? Maybe I might do that in June, maybe I'll hold on to the few remaining reservations that I have. I don't know yet.
But what do you think about that guys, about having your actual profile picture as a profile picture on social media sites? Would you feel comfortable enough to do the big reveal? Or do you think the anonymity of these placeholder images are more convenient?

Showing your real self has its advantages. But I would really like to see your real face.

I think the photos stored in free stock images are being paid. Because there are people nowadays who are getting paid for their beautiful photography.. I'm not sure but maybe.

I don't mind showing my face, my face is all over the internet haha I don't have anything to hide so I don't really have a reason to keep anonymous but I don't mind when people do. We don't need to know people's faces or even names to be friends!
