Day 2
Yesterday, I started the day with coffee doctored up with Truvia and regular coffee creamer in a small mug, and a full glass of apple cider vinegar with honey. Also began drinking a full 32 oz of lemon water. Was a promising beginning.
Throughout the day, I did not have impulses to find anything I could chew or drink anything unhealthy.
Just a note...on weekends or days off, I don't have a schedule. You know, like snacking mid morning and mid afternoon. It is more like whatever whenever. The snacks I had yesterday were yogurt and a sugar free Popsicle.
Lunch was two over easy eggs with toast, and some baked chicken poppers. I had no desire to go back for seconds!
Supper is also where I tend to go overboard. However, instead I had a regular sized plate and had small portions. And after eating, slowly, and drinking iced water, I didn't want seconds.
The rest of the evening I enjoyed iced water. I have friends and family that don't get why I love iced water. No, not tap water. I have a filtrated water system with my refrigerator. So ice and the water are crisp tasting. And not to mention sweet! Very sweet tasting!
Exercising didn't happen. I didn't sit still. I ended up organizing my kitchen and dresser drawers. However, I have a step tracker on my phone and it said I got in 7,000 steps. Not too shabby.
I have one day left of vacay. I am scared of returning to my habits when I return to work. Work makes me anxious, which leads to overeating, which leads to overindulging in the bad foods I love. So I will have to find a way to get around this. Taking a break is not an option. Breaks are not allowed.
I shall continue this journey and share my experiences with battling my food additions and the motivation behind exercising.
Have a great day you all and thanks for reading and the encouragement.

Hi Lady! That is a good start for you. Just continue to do what you are doing. I do not remove fats and sweets in my system but I eat little since my stomach is used to it.

Since starting to drink the apple cider vinegar mixture and lemon water, I am finding that my cravings have started to be smaller.
