Think outside the box - Think outside the box
Notta. My brain is going a mile a minute and I may need some help turning it off. My advice, if you want it, is try to think outside the box. I see many people constantly asking the same questions. Think of what interests you. What do you want to know. What drives you insane. Maybe go for a walk, read a book, watch some television, play with the dog etc... the brain juices will start flowing in time! I hope this helps!

No, you aren't. It happened many times to me. I have a new good idea and then I see, someone has just started a similar discussion.

It happens with answers also. You can see the proof right above...

It should not be difficult if you keep the following points in mind: the topic should be something for which you want to know the answers or want to discuss with others, the topic should be useful.

yes, that is the key. we need topics which we want to discuss, find out the answers etc. and the topics should be useful, not some useless stuff. Dont you agree?

I come up with new topics but the problem is that I'm pretty sure no one will want to reply to them or will somehow be offended unintentionally so I suppose I sort of do have the same problem.

Yes, I find it harder some days than others! Sometimes I go to Yahoo Answers for inspiration. Always use the search bar at the top of MyLot to see if a topic has already been discussed.

I think there are a lot of people having trouble finding new discussions to start. Just have a look at how man "What colour are your eyes" and "Where do you come froms" there are on here. I think you should just talk about things that interest you and enjoy your time here.

I am here for company, but you got so many discussions and I have just made 4. I just feel bored to think of new ones. I just spend my time answering the discussions and replying to my friends.

I don't find it hard to come up with new discussions. I find it hard to find quality discussions to respond to. There are so many that are the same just with different wording. There are also those that are specific to a certain demegraphic.

I have this same problem. And sometimes, I will start a new discussion, and then I see that either someone else has already started one on the same subject, or someone after me starts one, and they get more responses than I do. Oh, well. I guess we should just talk about what we want to talk about, and not really worry about the other stuff.

I personally think you are far from alone with this. I always try to find something that not everyone else has asked, and a lot of times that is Hard to do.
