Yes, the film is great, but the main character of LoR is just a stupid and helpless child. He just looks scared around him with his biiig cow eyes and has no courage or everything might have a child of his age. I cannot compare him with the brave Harry Potter !!

i havent seen the whole of star wars so my opinion might be biased but i think lord of the rings is much grander and more acclaimed..star wars is so popular becoz a movie of those dimensions was unknown in that time..so at that time it must have been the grandest extravaganza..

Lord of the Rings for me. I enjoyed that one so much more. Star Wars never really thrilled me.

I think The Lord of The Rings is the best movie that I've ever seen. The plot, story and setting are totally unique and I've never seen a movie that special! Star Wars is good but I am not a fan of it. Kinda subjective, I know, but that's my view lol.

If you are a sci-fi kind a person Star Wars Saga is great and I was bord with Star Wars. Aside from the fact that I love Harrison Ford I think George Lukas nailed it. And now my son loves it a lot.

i am with lord of the rings i saw both films and i liked lord of the rings much much above than star wars..........in everything it is best...........in action,cinematic,sound,characters..........etc....etc.......
