So disgusted to find this in a public bathroom at a gas station!

I stopped in to the BP/ road runner gas station on my way to church this past Sunday. my daughter had to use the restroom and couldn't wait til we got to Church.
They had the coffee machine parts on the sink in the public bathroom!!!
That is so gross! I know I won't ever get coffee there again. I use to work at a gas station in FL and they provided 3 different sinks to wash, rinse, and sanitize properly!
It really was so disgusting for that to be a few feet from a toilet anyone can use.
What is the worst "thing" you have seen concerning disgusting sanitary habits of gas stations or restaurants?

I couldn't believe they did that! I did email in and heard nothing back from the company. I know without a doubt, I'm never getting coffee from there again! I came real close to buying a reusable coffee mug since they had those on sale.
But after seeing that? NOPE! no thank you! I'm cool with Mc donalds coffee if I happen to want one when out and on the town! Though I really love my metal reusable mug I bought at church!

that is so gross! thank goodness I don't drink coffee, and aren't buying it there.
Only thing I can really think of, is people not flushing, and pee on the floors and toilet seats.

The health department should know about that. They probably have sinks available insid but employees are not well trained.

I don't think the health department does anything here. I reported a place that keeps milk out of the coolers, sells expired foods, etc. selling expired foods and not keeping milk in a cooler isn't against the law.
The company did call back to say "sorry! but they dont have anywhere else to wash or refill the coffee pot except that restroom".
sooo... gross!

Whenever I use anything public, I avoid thinking of how sanitary the place is and hope that my immune system is healthy and strong.

I just refuse to go there and am so scared to use other gas station ones. I kinda want to be like "can I see where you wash the coffee pots" if I want to order it on our soon to be road trip. Then I'm like nah.. I think I will just pay extra to get a clean experience at starbucks or mc donalds!

oh Yuk..I hate gas station restrooms. I almost would rather go in the woods! Although I know of one in Northern Virginia..that is beautiful. They must inspect it every 15 minutes.
