I am Filipino, yes rice is our staple but for me personally I can live on just about anything or whats available from rice to bread, pizza, pasta, Asian noodles, potatoes, beans ( chili con carne) etc.. Even just fruits and vegetables so long as I eat something starchy like potato or sweet potato.

I bet who ever cooks for you is happy. You are not a picky eater. And looks like you have a good appetite.

That is cute. I thought most of people living in US prefer mashed potatoes and veggies over rice.

Usually during the week for breakfast i just have cereal and try to buy ones that are buy one get one free with coupons of course. Lunch i may go get something to eat but sometimes i bring lunch to work with me, sometimes leftovers from dinner the night before or i will make sandwich or something lite. I then eat dinner and usually some meat with pasta or rice and a vegetable or course too. I do like rice like you do as well and couple possibly eat it everyday if i could.

@saritflor the only yellow rice that I know is java rice and that it kinda have this red bellpepper like spice that they add into in that is why it turned yellow. Anyway as long as it is rice is it yummy lol.

@Friendlypink I have no idea what is Java rice, well in my case I just add a spice that gives it a yellowish color :)

I love rice. For a while I was avoiding it since my wife decided to go on a low carb diet and I figured I'd just do it with her so as not to eat all those yummy carbs in front of her. But after two years of that I am done with it. I want my rice, I want my potatoes, I want my noodles. Rice was always my favorite next to potatoes.
