What weird food combination have you ever tried

I just had a bit of lunch in a friend place and I was handed rice with peppery soup not stew which i found the combo weird but it was nice afterall and i wash it down with bitter lemon drink haha.Have you ever tried some food combo that was out of place

I tried when I was little a lot of things with ketchup. Biscuits with ketchup, Soda with ketchup(and salt), pie with ketcup, apple with ketchup, ice cream with ketchup. I drank vinegar and olive oil and both mixed, soda with ice cream.
once I was at a friend's house their mom made salad and that had tomatoes, cucumber, ananas and mayo, that was disgusting for me but the rest of the people liked it and now I think that the problem was at me :)

I have never tried eating some food that seems odd, since i always go for my favorite food.
